MISSION AND GOAL STATEMENT : Indian Classical Music and Arts Society of Canada ( ICMAS) is Registered as Non profit charity in the year 1992. The original name was Kalaivanimantram of Etobicoke and West Toronto. The organization is mandated to propagate, preserve and promote Indian Music, Arts, Culture and Literature among young Canadians and adults. The mission is to provide a comprehensive platform for Indo Canadians to cherish the rich cultural lineage of India while within Canada. To provide a comprehensive platform for all performers, teachers, choreographers, composers and music critics of all ethnicities to exhibit their artistic , musical and literary skills affiliated to Indian sub continent either directly or indirectly. The organization would also strive to introduce bridging programs for self employed artists, dancers and musicians from India to integrate and promote their cultural lineage to Ontario community.
